Dinners at the Farm
July-September 2012 East Lyme, Madison, and Essex, CT
Dinners at the Farm, New England’s much celebrated farm dinner benefit series, has been renewing and promoting a shared connection to local farming, seasonal cooking and great eating since 2007.
This year I’m a returning member of the team of cooks under the tent led by founder Jonathan Rapp, who is also chef-owner at River Tavern in Chester, CT. We’ll be preparing unique and delicious six-course meals at three Connecticut locations: White Gate Farm in East Lyme, Barberry Hill Farm in Madison and Scott’s Farm & Greenhouses in Essex for a total of 24 nights.
Each dinner helps support the farms where the meals are held, as well as many other area farms from which our ingredients are sourced. Your ticket purchase also helps support our four beneficiaries: CitySeed, Connecticut Farmland Trust and Working Lands Alliance, and Connecticut’s Region 4 School Kitchens.
I hope you’ll join us!
